Rex is retired and lives in Lehi, Utah, about 50 miles south of Salt Lake City. He's married to the former Debbie Kyle who graduated in 1970 from Jefferson High School. They have four children and 11 grandchildren, all living in Utah. Rex is active in the Beehive Statesmen barbershop chorus, volunteers and does genealogy at the Salt Lake Family History Library, loves gourmet cooking, still does some ham radio, and has been a church choir director for many years. During his working career, he worked as a computer programmer for Federal Resources mining company, Banner Distributing, Colorado National Bank, and the LDS Church from which he retired.
