Whew, 45 years, where did the time go? Is the Scotchman gone? Where’s my carpool buddies? We haven’t aged, have we?

I’m not as adventuresome as my classmates because I have remained a Colorado native.

I live with my husband of 17 years, Jeff, in southeast Denver. I have a daughter, Tammy, 40 years old and a son, Michael, 38, from a previous marriage. We’re blessed with 6 grandchildren, ranging in age from 12 to 19 months. Tammy lives in Denver and is the Court Administrator for the Supreme Court Disciplinary Judge. Michael lives in northern Michigan and is the General Manager of a large asphalt paving company.

My career in the legal field began in 1969, where I was trained as a paralegal before it became a recognized profession. I retired from the Colorado Court of Appeals in 2003, to embark on my next career as a businesswoman. My husband and I own 4 businesses, one of which is the Keller Williams Real Estate office in Castle Rock.

We love to golf and we travel extensively throughout the world. We spend two months every year in Maui, golfing most days 36 holes. We’re fit, happy, in good health, and not sure retirement is the thing for us – at least not yet.

I am not attending this year’s reunion (out of the country), but hope to be there at the 50th!! I’m looking forward to contacting my high school friends that I haven’t spoken to in many years. Since Donna and the Committee have done such a fabulous job of organizing the reunion this year, I will be able to do so. I am saddened by how many of our classmates have passed away, especially Haven Ginther.
